The Christian world is big on grace; it’s all about grace, did not the Messiah after-all came full of ‘grace and truth’.
Grace it seems, abounds in the New Testament and has its pinnacle at the Cross. Thanks to the ‘grace’ of the Crucifixion, all who believe, (or perhaps even all mankind, of all time – i.e. Universalism), are ‘saved’ by grace and thanks to this ‘unmerited favour’, there is nothing, absolutely nothing else needed to be added to this ‘finished work’ of the Cross.
Or at least that’s what we are led to believe. Perhaps we should all dig a little deeper given the huge significance attached to ‘grace’.
